About the Author
Annemarie Colbin is a leading figure on the natural foods/holistic health scene. She is the author of The Book of Whole Meals and Food and Healing; her column, “Food and your Health” appears regularly in Free Spirit, Earth Star and New Frontier. She is also the author or subject of many articles in a wide range of publications including The New York Times, Newsday, East/West Journal, and Vegetarian Times.
Ms. Colbin is the founder and director of the Natural Gourmet Cookery School/Institute for Food and Health in Manhattan. She also devotes considerable time to lecturing and teaching at major holistic health organizations abroad. Ms. Colbin lives in New York City with her teenage daughters.
