The seven principles of the Hermetic Philosophy were presented in a book called The Kybalion written by three Initiates and published in 1912 by Yogi Publication Society. These principles have their true origin from the hermetic doctrine which was established in The Corpus Hermeticum, the core documents of the Hermetic tradition, and is believed to be authored by the Greek god Hermes Trismegistus (Thrice Great) and homologous Egyptian god Thoth.
They are the principles of Mentalism, Correspondence, Vibration, Polarity, Rhythm, Cause and Effect, and Gender.
Jean Elly was born in the 70’s and raised in Haiti by catholic parents. He studied Electronic Engineering in the 90’s at Haiti State University, and moved to the USA in 1999, studying Computer Science at Polytechnic State University. He currently is a Business Consultant developing Medicare Enrollment Processes at Aetna.
In 2008, he started studying esoteric philosophies and become a member of different mystical and philosophic organizations, notably the prestigious Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC) and the Traditional Martinist Order.
