The music, glorified by the outstanding voices of the Ars Nova Singers, is true singing for the soul, tinged at times with Celtic and classical influences. The album lets you enjoy moments of pure emotion, provided by excellent musicians (trumpet, violin, flute, cello, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, percussion and piano performed brilliantly by Bill Douglas himself). On this album, Bill Douglas has also skilfully arranged and adapted poems from some of the great authors: Yeats, Shelley and Shakespeare, whose immortal words remain in our hearts.
